We were all learning how to love one another
and program
basically
in BASIC

It was the 1980s
programming scene
back when love was pure
and not obscene

So I'm sitting in my class
and I got my eye on this lass
So I wrote this little program
to win her

And it reads
10 PRINT I LOVE YOU
and
20 GOTO 10

I love you

And she types
10 PRINT I HATE YOU
and
20 GOTO HELL

Hmmm
Well I think I heard the class bell

It was a 1980s programming scene
and I think I can see through
her smokescreen

But she's playing
quite coy
with this little programmer boy
But I wrote this little program
to win her

And it reads
10 PRINT I LOVE YOU
and
20 GOTO 10

I love you

Oh she types
10 PRINT NOT QUITE YET
and
20 GOTO HECK

Well I think that's
better yet
